Under the protection of MI18, Britain stands as a bastion against Die Reinheit, the Aryan operants who terrorize Europe and threaten the world. During Operation Barbarossa, Die Reinheit death squads follow the Wehrmacht into Russia in order to exterminate the Slavic psychics. •  James Patrick Kilford

James Patrick Kilford has been a musician, printer, clerk and labourer, but found a vocation in education, teaching English in inner-city schools in the UK and Ireland. An unashamed bibliophile, his passions include military history, classical history, British comics, science-fiction, soccer, philately and an unhealthy vinyl-addiction.

He has been a record-breaking rower, but these days open water swimming is his source of fitness, mindfulness and torture. An Englishman who has Irish parentage, he now lives with his wife in rural Ireland.

His first novel was published in 2008. Since then he has emigrated, recorded albums of original music, and worked on his vision of the Operant Saga. The multi-book series explores the evolution of psychic humanity, and the centuries of conflict humankind must endure in order to transcend the island-mind and achieve species operancy.
